Great job today gang! I was really proud of your efforts and know that all of you will get “CENTERING”. Remember your steps and your position, Another key is to take your foot off the foot pedal. :} We will be working on centering for a few more classes then on to your cylinder assignment. Thank you for a great class.

centering….. i think centering is hard at the start but as you get used to the hand position and angles it gets easier. the more you practice at centering the more you will improve and not need mrs. kirsch’s help. the hard part about centering is trying not to make knobs. if you cup ur hands while centering when you pull up to cone a knob will come at the top and break. thats what i learned on centering.

Gayla, Good point about making a knob when trying to center. I believe you have the hang of it though. You have thrown some good pieces this past week!
Good job!
