I don’t think we should start dating now because if we get into a relationship it’s to early to say that we will be really together for the rest of our lives. We’re only in elementary school. We still have 7 years ahead of us and when we break up there will be a lot of problems drama. It won’t be good for the school because the parents will complain. Also relationships can interfere with school grades. That’s why I don’t want to date.
Personally and truthfully, I don’t want to start dating before I get out of college. Mostly, so I can focus on getting a good career on track before I start dating. But if you want to date that’s fine with me, just make sure you don’t get me involved. 8)
I think that we should not start to date now because a relationship it could interfere with school. I also think that kids at our age are too young to have a relationship. I do not want to start dating until I have a steady job and my education is done. If other people want to start dating, then really it’s their choice. (: T_T
Personally, I don’t want to date in elementary or middle school because I think it is inappropriate and we 5th graders are not ready, any way what would you do? Take the person out to a romantic McDonald’s lunch on the playground?
I think we should wait because we would be more responsible when we are older and dating might interfere with school work.
I think it is really gross to date this young. It is inappropriate now. I agree with Dane. I don’t wanna date before medical school. In high school, there is a class for pregnant teens. I think that is gross! If kids start dating now then that is their choice to mess up their lives. I just don’t want anything to do with them if so. I mean, we are too young to go on dates by ourselves!
I don’t want to date in high school, but I think THAT is when other kids could date. I mean, as high school kids we’d still make fools out of ourselves. It’s cool 8) if you have a crush, but not if you date.
My point is, Don’t date unless you WANT to screw up your life.
I think fifth graders have a choice if they want to start dating because some fifth graders have matured and are ready to take their next step in life. Me, on the other hand, do not want to date at this time because I want to enjoy being a kid and not worry about someone breaking up with me or me breaking up with them. I can probably do that when I am older but for now, the only people I love are my family and my friends.
