On a scale of one through ten I think that I am a number eight because I have been doing my job a lot lately. I think I am the only one to organize the extra school supplies.
I am in a financial crisis, as you know, because my money is in the negative, and of coursem I am very unhappy because I cannot pay for things.
My goal is to get at least $1200.00.

I think that on a scale of one to ten, I would rate myself as a six because when I take pictures I usually take them in the morning. But, when it is a good time to take pictures, I sometimes have the tendency to forget to take pictures.
I am doing well financially. I’m very satisfied with what I’ m being paid right now. I’m happy with it because if my pay is 800 dollars, I usually earn another $200 because the additional $800 gives me $2,000 to pay my rent.
My goals are to take more pictures, and not to forget to take pictures when I have the time.

I would rate myself a 4 out of 5 because I can do my job and tell Mr. Chung how much money each person has. But, I need to stay more organized with my folder.
February 2nd, 2009 at 4:05 pm
Oops, sorry, I pressed the wrong button.
I think I am in a pretty good position, but I think I could do better. If I do my work well and get more 100’s, I can be on top of things money-wise. I am happy because when I get paid and then pay rent, I will still have over a thousand dollars.
My goals are to keep my ledgers organized and to be the first person to buy my desk. I also think I need to depend on other ways to gain money besides selling things.

On a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate myself a 5 because I try to keep the class in control but they hardly listen to me. When we are going to other subjects like music and band, everyone runs down at different paces so I can’t keep them under control. I didn’t even know we were supposed to walk down in lines. None of the other classes do.
Financially I am doing okay. I am not super-rich but I’m not super-poor either. I can pay my rent easily each month. I don’t stress at the end of the month because I know I have enough money because with an 800 dollar salary all I have to do is get 200 dollars in money outside of my salary to pay my rent.
My goal is to be able to keep the class behaving decently when we go to each class and being able to line them up orderly.
February 2nd, 2009 at 4:34 pm
I think if I rated myself on a scale from one to ten, I would rate myself a nine. I think I deserve this rating because I do my job well, and every time I meet my expectations. I also think there is room for improvement, like if I can do something for my job everyday.
I am happy with my financial situation because I have enough money to pay for my desk. I also think that I can get more money than I already have.
My goal for the rest of the year is to do something for my job everyday and to get enough money to buy my desk.
February 2nd, 2009 at 4:44 pm
On a scale from 1-10, I would give myself a 7. I always log everything down in my folder but I do not print out another log when I run out of space. I usually just record their balances on the students’ balances at the bottom of the paper.
I am doing fine with the amount of pay I get every month. $800 seems to me just enough or maybe even more to pay my rent. I make my extra money by selling things or by doing math boxes. When I do math boxes or sell things, I can also get more money so I can buy things too. I am happy with the payment I get.
My goal is to be organized by getting more logs when I need them.
February 2nd, 2009 at 5:14 pm
I don’t think I did a good job.
Probably a 1 out of 5.
I think so because
I didn’t really put anything up in the room.
I am happy
with my money. I have $1000. I think it’s pretty good.
One goal is to be more assertive and show Mr. Chung proof about my extra-curricular activities.
Another goal is to make more money in my sales and stop spending money.
February 2nd, 2009 at 5:15 pm
I would rate myself a seven out of ten because I could be more organized in my checking accounts and not take so much time recording the data. I could also be better in my handwriting when recording because sometimes I mess up on which number is which.
I am doing well when it comes to money because I always save and make enough for the mortgage bill. I am happy with $800 a month because I don’t want to make too much money and waste it all before the mortgage bill.
This year I hope to get to a nine of ten on my scale and maybe buy my desk, so I don’t have to pay for the mortgage.
February 2nd, 2009 at 5:16 pm
If I were to rate myself on a scale of 1-10, I would rate myself a 6 because sometimes I don’t tell people to be quiet when I’m supposed to, especially when Mr. Chung is teaching, I don’t tell people to be quiet because I think that it is very rude.
I think that our payment is perfectly the right amount and that Mr.Chung should continue to pay us 800 dollars.
My goal is to tell people to be quiet when I am supposed to.
February 2nd, 2009 at 5:25 pm
I would give myself a G+ because I fine people but if I try harder, I can probably be able to get everyone in a line.
(Do you know how hard it is to control Alema and Nainoa in the same class!!!!!!!!!)
February 2nd, 2009 at 5:26 pm
I think that Mr. Chung should keep on paying me the same.
February 2nd, 2009 at 5:33 pm
I think on a rate 1 through 10, I give myself a 4 because I barely even put anything on the board to make the board look nice. Plus, if we put things up, it never changes for maybe about 2 months or so. Me and Kyla don’t even have little meetings to discuss what we should do. I can see that it is my responsibility to find things and put up things up that we learn in school. I can also find things at home that relate to what we learned.
I am doing well financially. I can pay my rent after each month. I know that I will have enough money because we get paid a 800 dollar salary. But, I know that if I do not work hard, then my salary is going to drop.
My goals are to try to work harder and if I work hard, then I know it can be done. I also want to do better at my job so that my salary does not drop.
February 2nd, 2009 at 5:56 pm
If I had to rate myself from a one to a ten, I would have rated myself an eight because the Smart Board is normally turned on everyday and most of the time I make sure that the printer is stocked with paper.
My financial situation is pretty good because I have like $900 and I have never missed one rent day yet. I think my average amount of money is $750.
My goals are to stock the printer with paper every day and make sure that I don’t forget turn on the Smart Board.
February 2nd, 2009 at 5:58 pm
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate myself a 7 because whenever Mr.Chung tells me to do something, I do it and I try to keep the class clean. I pass out a lot of the papers and collect a lot of them also.
My financial situation is not bad but I could use a little more work. I am not happy with my financial situation because I still can’t buy my desk and I am not very close to buying my desk.
A goal for me in the Wailele economic system is to buy my desk and have money to spend.
February 2nd, 2009 at 6:08 pm
I think the job that I have is awesome and I rate myself a 4 out of 5 because when Mr.Chung tells me to deliver something to another teacher or to get his mail then I would do it. I wouldn’t take my time just walking, I run. I don’t just waste time in class because I can always be learning a lot. I think my financial situation is ok. I can still pay my rent but I could use more money, but if I don’t get it, then I won’t care because I can make my rent.
I think the goal for me is to get more money so I don’t have to worry if I’m in debt or I can’t pay my rent.
February 2nd, 2009 at 7:06 pm
I think being a grader is fun but on a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 the highest, I think I would be an 8. I think I would be an 8 because I try to grade everything we can. I also took home some booklets so I could correct and in that one day, I corrected 10 of them.
I am pretty good in financially because right now I have about $800, and if we get our money from Mr.Chung for doing our job then I will get $1600. Then, when I have to pay rent which is $1000, I will be left with $600. I am pretty happy.
My goal is to do whatever I can to grade things and turn them in as soon as possible.
February 2nd, 2009 at 7:29 pm
On a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate myself an 8 because I try my hardest to keep people from talking when we are in class. But sometimes they get out of hand, and when I fine them, they always argue and say that I didn’t give them a warning. Ariana might even take the fine off of them. Also, sometimes I get so sucked into Mr. Chung’s lessons that I forget to tell people to be quiet.
My financial situation is great because I have a very good amount of money. If I add up all of my money, I have around 2,300 dollars or something like that, and I am satisfied with that.
My goals for the rest of the school year are to buy my desk and to be able to control the class better.
February 2nd, 2009 at 7:44 pm
My job is a grader. I think that I did my job. But graders didn’t grade that many papers until the beginning of January when we had to correct the math booklets. The math booklets were hard to correct because they have a lot of pages. Still, I think that I did a pretty good job of correcting some of the math pages in the book so I would rate being a grader a 6 because it’s an OK job .
I want to switch jobs because I would like to be an interior designer. I would also like to buy my desk like everyone else, but I think that 800 dollars is a good amount of money to get paid. I am happy with the amount of money that I have, but I plan to get more.
February 2nd, 2009 at 7:56 pm
I would say that I am doing well in my job. I clean the smart board and take out the trash when we come down for lunch. I am a janitor.
Well the business of selling food and stuff has taken me over. I lost track of my money and I now have $0. I am not really happy with it, but I do know that I can change it easily because I’m on the line. I could go up or down. I am not in bad debt, but I need to change something fast.
I really want to start selling stuff so I can raise more money. I might want to change to a police officer, but I also like being a janitor. I will stay a janitor, but if you want me to change, I will become a police officer. I also don’t want to be in debt.
February 2nd, 2009 at 8:29 pm
I would give myself a 4 out of 10 because in the beginning when I first got the job, I was kind of persistent but now I’m totally slacking off. I am a recycler.
I think that now I can improve on the debt I have now because there is now a thing where you can sell things to make money. I can change how much money I have in my bank now. I am not happy with the balance of money I have now because I know that I can take advantage of the extra credit work so I can earn money. I need to be more careful.
My goals for the economic system is to start having a system for recycling so I can prove I am doing my job. Another goal is to raise more money by selling things to students in my class.
February 2nd, 2009 at 8:36 pm
I would rate myself a four out of five on how I’m doing with my job. This is because I always pray for lunch except when Mr. Chung asks somebody else to do it. It’s just that I hardly make class announcements because I only say something when Mr. Chung gives me a paper with announcements. Instead, I should ask him if there are any announcements.
I am not doing that good financially mostly because of belt fines. Now, I just have to be more responsible and remember things better.
Right now, my goal is to be able to have a thousand dollars when I get paid and pay the rent every month.
February 2nd, 2009 at 8:38 pm
On a scale from 1-10, I would rate my financial progress a nine. I am happy with it because I know that I have worked hard to get that money and I feel confident about life when it finally comes.
One of my goals for the Wailele Economic System is to try my best to do my job, and even more so, I can help everyone in the class.
I think that I have done my job neatly and thoroughly, and I have worked hard to keep up with my clients’ progress. As much as I like being a banker, I would like to switch jobs and become a police officer.
February 2nd, 2009 at 10:05 pm
I would rate my performance as clerk on a scale from 1 – 10, an “8″. I feel that I have passed out papers, organized the bookshelf, and whatever other duties that came up to the best of my abilities. Starting the new year, I feel I can improve my organization by taking the initiative to perform tasks before I’m told to.
I am happy with my financial situation because I was able to use monies I earned to purchase items and still have money left for the future. I believe that if I try harder to do my job, I will earn more money and build my confidence.
One goal I have for the Wailele Economic System is to maybe use my spare time to get a jump start on what duties I may have that day. Also, maybe I could create a sign out sheet for the books to keep track of who borrows them. This would help to remind students to bring them back if they forget. We could even organize the books in alphabetical order.

I do not take fines off of people like Spencer said. I only do that if Spencer fines people and I don’t know about it. Then, I take the fine I put on them off of their bank accounts.
Dane: Sometimes Spencer is unfair like he fines people for no reason and he fined me $700 for talking back to him once. He also fines us for talking although we were talking about work or explaining to a friend what we had to do for algebra. The only people he fines are Nainoa, Dane, Kyla, Amylyn, and Ale. Sometimes he’s talking with his friends about nothing and he doesn’t get fined!!!!! His friend just has to say Spencer, I’m your friend and he takes the fine back.
Nainoa: He is very unfair by all of his friends by not fining them, like he’s always saying, “oh never mind, you’re not fined.”
February 3rd, 2009 at 6:35 pm
I would rate myself a 3 out of 5 for how I am doing in my job. I rated myself this way because I am an attendance monitor and I sometimes tell the office what the attendance is. Sometimes, I also have to be reminded to take up the attendance. I have to be reminded about 3 out of 5 times to go up to do the attendance.
My financial situation is not going very well. I am not very happy about my financial situation because I only have about $100 and I need $200 to pay my rent. I need to sell stuff before I become deskless!
My goal is to sell more stuff so I can get more money to pay my rent. I also have to ask my mom to buy stuff I can sell at school.
February 3rd, 2009 at 6:48 pm
I also have to keep on turning in attendance so I can get a raise.
February 3rd, 2009 at 9:36 pm
On a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate myself a 9 because I have been cleaning the room and taking out the garbage lately especially when we ate down stairs in the classroom. And, when school is over, I sometimes stay in the class and pick up garbage.
I am not happy with my financial situation because I am low on money and no one wants to buy anything for $50. I will do better at my job, try for a higher salary, and a different job too (I would want to try for webmaster!
). I’m not happy with this situation because I could go homeless.
One of my goals for the rest of the school year in the Wailele Economic System is to get at least $200 in a week so I can pay my rent for the month with my salary ($800). Rent=$1000. I will do my duty without being told when to do it or what to do.
May 20th, 2009 at 5:42 pm
I think that on a scale of 1-10 I would rate myself an 8 because I worked really hard and when we had to grade the math booklets and both me and Kelsey really got really tired of grading the math booklets because everyone kept on comeing back because the had to get them all correct, and they had to do 5 pages so that was a little interesting.
I am not doing well with my financial situation I think if I took advantege of the fact I could make money off of my math boxes I think that I would have done better this year. I also think that if I sold things more often I would have made a visible amount of increase in my financial situation. If we had compound interest in this ecosystem, because I do not keep cash and store it all in the bank I think I could have made a couple hundred dollars more than I have now.
This year really helped me realize that I have weaknesses in money like I love to buy things so I have to learn to save my money. I think that with real money I am different because it is something that everyone needs to survive, and I know it is valuable and so with the real money I save it I hardly spend it unless I really want or need something. But I think it has been a great year and I will always remember it.
