Some paradigms that we don’t believe in any more is that women shouldn’t be allowed to partake in the goverment and political society. Another one is that if you were a certain race you were better or worse than someone else, such as white people were better and african american people were worse, and they had to be slaves.
Learning about paradigms is important because it is a way we are able to see the world from someone else’s perspective.
Learning about paradigms is important when learning about pu’uloa and pearl harbor because that is how the whole conflict started, with the paradigm of land ownership, and when we learn about it, it can give us an view of how it was like to be there during the pearl harbor bombing.

one example of a paradigm is that the earth was in the middle of the solar system. learning about paradigms are important because every single person’s life is based on a paradigm. Everyone’s thoughts and beliefs revolve around that paradigm. If somebody had a paradigm that puuloa never existed before pearl harbor than that person wont know about puuloa.

1 Some paradigms that people believewere that the earth had only one nation or country. Another paradigm would be that everyone, including kids, should drink beer. One more paradigm that I have is that the world is round.
2 paradigms are important because everyone has a different perspective about something like Pu’uloa, some paradigms teach us about Pu’uloa and Pearl Harbor.
3 It’s important to have a perspective about something, and it might be true. Some people might think that Pu’uloa wasn’t important and some think it is. Some people think it was right for the Japanese to bomb and some don’t. But everyone has a different way of looking of things which makes you learn more.

1) One paradigm that we do not believe in any more is that there were 9 planets. But now the ninth planet (pluto) is now a dwarf planet. Another one that we don’t believe in any more is that the earth is flat. Also, another one is that all of the planets revolve around the earth.

2) Learning about paradigms is important because it is something that someone thinks is 100% true. It is important to learn about them because it can tell you about what people thought about in the past.

3) It is important to learn about paradigms to learn about Pu’uloa because paradigms can tell you what the Americans thought, and what the Japanese thought.

1.When your young, you believe in the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus. When you get older, Your
paradigm changes. Another paradigm was that Pluto was a planet. It is a dwarf planet.

Some paradigms that people believed in that we don’t have anymore are a) people thought the world was flat and if you were sailing on a boat and sailed to far you would eventually fall off the earth. b) people thought that there were nine planets and then we find out that there are only eight planets because Pluto is to small to be a planet so it is considered a dwarf planet.
2. A paradigm is something that some body believes in that is a 100% true. Paradigms are important because somebody’s attitude can depend on your paradigm. For example my paradigm is to go to school because I believe going to school and getting a good education will get me a good job.
3. I think learning about paradigms is so important to learning about Puuloa or Pearl Harbor because we can learn about both sides and find out some of there paradigms and put them together to find out certain things about the sides.

1. Some paradigms people do not believe in today are people thought the world was flat. Well I know a paradigm about one of my cultures. I am Samoan and a paradigm that I don’t believe is that we do not get a long with Tongans. I do not believe that because my best friend is a Tongan.

2. A paradigm is something that somebody believes in 100%. A paradigm is important to me because my attitude can depend on it.

1. Learning about paradigms connect to Pu’uloa and Pearl Harbor because there was two different paradigms the Japanese and tha American. From the Japanese kind of point of view or paradigm, they might have had every right to bomb Pearl Harbor. But from the American point of view or paradigm, the Japanese might of had every reason not to bomb Pearl Harbor.
2. A paradigm is something that you belive in so much, it is what you do. For example the Europeans belived that the isms were okay, like racism, colonialism and imperialism.

One paradigm of old is that all the planets and sun are all around the earth and the earth is in the center. Now we know that is not true.

It is important to learn about paradigms so that we can learn what our ancestors think. Our thinking now is that the sun is in the center and all the planets are around it.

It is important to learn about paradigms with Pu’uloa because people used to think it was a place of clean waters and fishing but now it is a naval base.

I think paradigms are important because it is what you believe in. Once you believe in something you start to do it.

For an example in the bombing of Pearl Harbor. My paradigm or my belive was that Japan bombed us because the U.S.A. stopped giving them sugar but now people are telling me that it’s because they didn’t have a choice because they were about to be taken over by the Europians soon.
