We can see propaganda everywhere we go. That does not mean it is good or bad but it depends on what is being promoted. If somebody promotes non-smoking, I am perfectly fine with it because my grandpa was a smoker and he passed away because of smoking. Therefore, I am more than fine with non-smoking comercials. But smoking commercials and fast food commercials is the kind of propaganda that I personally think is idiotic and selfish because the people making those commercials know their products can hurt the customer and yet they promote it just for the money. That kind of propaganda, sadly, is usually the kind you see more of and it seems to be working especially in Hawaii. That is why you have to be careful with what you listen to and see everyday.

You can recognize propaganda by looking out for people who want power and conntrol. You can also recognize propaganda by watching what the person does to persuade you to do something.

You can protect yourself from propaganda by looking carefully at what the person is trying to persuade you to do. For example, McDonalds says their food is good, but all they give you are all those fatty food.

Only sometimes propaganda is good, like non-smoking commercials. But some are bad like McDonalds that say that they give you healthy foods when it's the most oily food in the world.

You can tell a commercial is propaganda if someone is trying to tell you that their product is cool and they are trying to brainwash you into thinking that their product is cool. Companies like MacDonalds try to trick you into thinking that their food is awesome but it's not. Propaganda is when someone tries to persuade you to do something or buy something.

Some examples of good propaganda are milk commercials that are supposed to encourage people to drink milk. Another example of good propaganda are the commercials that tell people how bad it is to smoke.

I think that there are good and bad ways to use propaganda, but propaganda is when someone tries to persuade you into doing something.

You can recognize propaganda by doing your own research. If you are unsure about something :( , do your own research! Then, you can determine if it is good :) or bad.

You can protect yourself by doing what I said in the first paragraph. You should see how it will affect your body and your mind, like smoking. That is NOT good for you. :(

Propaganda CAN be good :P . If you see a poster for exercising, that is good propaganda. :D If you see a commercial against smoking, that is cool. 8)

I think that you can tell propaganda if it sounds too good to be true or when you can tell people are overexaggerating the story. They try to make you think the people that use the products are cool, so if use the product you will be cool too.

I can protect myself from propaganda by doing research on the product that I'm not sure is as real as it sounds, like saying this shirt is so cool but they don't tell you how much it costs.

Sometimes propaganda can be dangerous like smoking and how they tell you that it's cool, or McDonalds and how they make the product look so tasty when it's really not healthy.

Propaganda also can be good though, like exercise commercials or stop smoking commercials.

I think propaganda can be good or bad so you just have to be really careful when you see it. :]

A commercial in a newspaper ad or on the radio often tries to persuade you to buying a particular item. For example, McDonald's tries to convince you to buy a bigger size meal at a small rise in price. They make it sound like such a good deal that you need to have it, so you will end up buying it. Another example are smoking ads. There was this commercial that said a real man smokes and fixes cars. The company Marlboro made that commercial. Even though the things that they convince you to buy may not always be healthy or safe.

You may protect yourself from propaganda by researching on your own. Propaganda is very dangerous. For example, Adolf Hitler persuaded a lot of German people to think that Jews are roaches but they are not. Hitler had a way of convincing the German people and blamed the Jews for everything.

There are good examples of propaganda. Kaiser has propaganda, but it is telling you to stay healthy and be active daily. If more would follow those examples, more people would not be suffering from the symptoms of not staying active, healthy and safe.

You can tell a commercial is propaganda by seeing if it tries to convince you to buy its product or food. Smoking commercials used bad propaganda because it told kids to smoke which you know is bad for your health and mind. It tells you that the product is cool or it will help you.

You can protect yourself from propaganda by not listening to the commercial or by looking up the product online or in an encylopedia. You can also protect yourself from propaganda by knowing what propaganda is and what it does.

There are good types of propaganda, like when commercials tells you to do healthy things like eat healthy or exercise daily. There are also times when it can help you in school, if a commercial or person tells you that if you read a book for 40 minutes, it will help you become a great reader.

You can tell if something is propaganda or not because you can see that it is trying to convince you something is good when it is bad. For example, you also could tell if food is good or bad for you by looking what the ingredients are and how much nutriton it has, then you can tell whether or not that it's good for you. When you see commercials like McDonald's, they are saying it's so good, but it's propaganda because if you look at the ingredients and the nutrition, you'll see that it's horrible for you.

You can protect yourself from propaganda by looking at the information about the product. Another way to protect yourself from propaganda is to just make it a habit to eat at home and go out only on rare occasions.

Propaganda can be good for you and it could be bad. If you saw the commercial that the older brother asks the younger brother if he wants a cigarette and the younger brother says no, that's a good kind of propaganda because it's showing you to do something good. Another commercial is when Kaiser Permanente says to eat healthy and exercise. Thats good propaganda.

You can recognize propaganda if the commercial or show is trying to convince you to buy their product. On their shows or commercials you can see that they are trying to brainwash you! What they will do is get a product like hamburgers and they'll try to make eating hamburgers at McDonalds kind of cool, then you get brainwashed into eating unhealthy foods that usually is the cause for obesity!

I can protect myself from propaganda by looking things up on the internet on how bad or good the product is. Another thing is that we should research because you don't always know the truth if they are lying about their product or not.

Yes, propaganda can be good for you. Some examples are the got milk commercials and maybe the commercials that are trying to get you to buy fruits and veggies. These are the reasons that propaganda can be good and bad for people.
