1. Two facts about this debate are…
-Beyonce advertises Coke.
-LeBron James advertises McDonalds.
2. Two opinions are that superstars should advertise unhealthy foods and drinks.
Another opinion is that superstars shouldn’t advertise unhealthy foods and drinks.
3. My opinion on this article is that superstars shouldn’t advertise unhealthy foods because it makes them look bad. For example if Beyonce advertises Coke. Coke can give you cavities, and alot of bad illnesses. It makes it look as if Beyonce is saying that its ok or its good if you drink Coke so that you can get illnesses. It makes Beyonce look bad. Thats not good for their reputation. If I were a superstar, then I wouldn’t advertise unhealthy foods. Though the commercials are pretty cool when they advertise the junk foods, it isn’t good for their reputation. I don’t think superstars shouod endorse junk foods.
Two facts about this article is Beyonce is advertising pepsi and is getting a $50 million dollar endorsement, and second-lots of celebrities are advertising foods and drinks and some think that is a good thing and some people are against it.
The two perspectives on this is people think it is bad for celebrities to advertise junk food because kids tend to do whatever their favorite celebrity does. So say someone really liked Taylor Swift, and then they saw her drinking coke to get ideas and she is always drinking it, they might think (as little kids) that coke gives you ideas and lets you write good songs. And that it’s healthy so they should drink it everyday. The same thing with Michael Jordan, if they saw him eating McDonalds they would want McDonalds!! But some say its good for celebrities to advertise things no matter what it is, they think it getting them extra money and some even get more money doing that then they get for their new album or movie! So they earn more endorsements and more publicity.
Honestly to me I really couldn’t care less. I mean they can do what they want however I do think that they should think about the pros and cons and measure their options before accepting to s commercial such as McDonalds or Pepsi or even Hans underwear. But at the end it’s really up to the celebrity.
-Taylor Swift is facing criticism for promoting Diet Coke
-Beyonce had a $50 million endorsement deal with Pepsi
-Stars should promote healthy habits
-Endorsements are a standard part of show business
In my opinion, I think that super-stars should be able to do what ever they would like to do. It’s their decision what they want to do with there life. If they want to drink Pepsi, go ahead. If they want to eat McDonalds, go ahead. If anything, they’re only hurting themselves. They’re risking that decision. Let them do what they like. It’s a free country! We shouldn’t direct them through their life. It’s not like they are 6 years old. Let them go. That’s like telling someone that they can’t be a dad. If it ruins their reputation, who cares. They only put that on themselves. Don’t tell them what to do. You’re not their mom!!!! HELLO!!!!!!
*Justin Timberlake endorses McDonald
*More than one-third of Americans are obese
*Fast food restaurants want people to eat there
*It’s not right to encourage kids to eat junk food
To me I think that the athletes or celebrities just wants to earn some extra money. I don’t think that the celebrities endorsing the junk food meant to encourage kids to eat it. I think that they should endorse more healthy restaurants or food like, subway, down to earth, and local farmers market. For example Michael Phillips endorses subway and Brenda Song endorses local farmers markets. After all it’s their choice to do it or not so it’s not their fault for this debate.
-Micheal Jordan endorses Mcdonalds
-Beyonce is advertising coke
-Stars should not promote unhealthy food and/or drinks because it influences younger people to start eating that then they might get obese because they follow the Stars, they believe in them
-the food that the Stars promote is usually very unhealthy so they become addicted to that food then the restaurant gets more customers and makes more money
I personally think that the Stars should stop promoting bad food because the younger generations will then follow and most will become obese and then it will pass through the next generations and then everyone will be fat
Taylor Swift-Facing criticism for the promotion of Diet Coke.
Beyonce-$50 million endorsement deal with Pepsi.
Celebrities-Should promote healthy habits.
Superstars-Shouldn’t advertise unhealthy foods and drinks.
I think celebrities should be able to make their own choices (i’m pretty sure they’re old enough to make their own choices). It’s their life not ours! If they do they’re only hurting themselves. Last time I checked we live in a free country!!!
2 facts about this debate is one 50 percent of Americans drink sugary drinks everyday and another fact is that using stars influences kids more to drink sugary drinks. Two opinions about this debate is stars should advertise good healthy habits instead of coke and McDonalds. Another opinion is that we should not be blamed for advertising junk food. My opinion on this is that stars should advertise good food like how basketball players and football players advertise subway I think that is better and we should do that more than McDonalds. I feel bad sometimes for stars because they can be mistaken for their names being on products but I guess that comes with there contract.
Two facts about this debate are that a lot of stars that promote junk food receive a lot of hate mail and a lot of complaints. Another fact is that it isnʻt celebrities responsibility to encourage healthy food.
That celebrities should be encouraging healthy foods to influence kids to eat healthy no to eat junk foods. But its just good business and their just making money is that a crime?
I think that the people (haters) should give celebrities a break if you where in their position would you take a commercial if you make like millions of dollars for it? Itʻs just good business.
2 facts about debate-
1.Beyonce advertises coke
2.Justin timber lake advertises McDonalds
My opinion is that athletes and superstars should advertise healthy food
My second opinion is that is that superstars are free to advertise any item that they want too.
I feel that they should show healthy foods on tv because it can influence kids that they should eat healthy not bad and unhealthy foods. It also makes them look bad and maybe some kids look up to lebRon James and they see him advertising McD’s then they will start to eat McDonalds.
To me they shouldn’t advertise junk foods because it makes them look bad because its like they always eat junk food because they advertise it and then they become fat and they don’t look good. The celebrities should not advertise junk food because the other people would think that they are gonna become fat from eating the junk food and then the fans will stop liking them because the fans might like skinny cool people. The companies that they are advertising might like it because what if they fans totally want to be like them so they keep going to the company and then the company become rich.
-endorse mcdonalds Larry bird and Charels Barkley.
-endorse sprite Lebron james.
-fast food resturants want people to eat their so they would use super stars as bait for more money.
-super stars are doing it for the money involed.
I feel that they shouldn’t endorse junk food because if they’re really superstars they can edorse with any componay or resurant. They should ask who ever their endorsing to make healther choices for the public to chose from so the won’t become obese or lazy. People who are endorsing these unhealthy resturants sre giving the comunity the green light that it is okay for them to develop unhealthy habits.
Some facts about this yes or no survey was that celebrities that producing junk food as well as, junk drinks are getting criticized on what will happen to the viewers that are following the producer. Another fact is that a lot of celebrities are getting complaints this includes, Taylor swift, leBron James, Beyonce and other more. Also, 50 percent of Americans drink sugary drinks everyday and another fact is that using stars influences kids more to drink sugary drinks.
2 opinions I have are that I would the side that criticized the celebrities because they should be producing good and healthy food not junk stuff like soda or candy. Another opinion I have is that maybe the producers are doing it for the money not for the fans.
I just think that the producers stop because all the fans of Taylor, Beyonce over 1,000,000 fans out there are going to be influenced by the junk food, soda, and candy. They are going to be like, oh since he/she drank this, I will drink this to. I mean if your going to produce something wouldn’t you produce something good, something healthy???
2 facts is that Dale Earnheart Jr. endorses diet mountain dew. Lebron also endorses Mcdonald . Kids should eat some junk food but not all the time. It can cause obesity, heart disease, and type two diabetes. Your just eating stuff that can kill you. I think I should not eat this because it can change your life.Healthy habits equal healthy people.I really don’t like these kind of things.
Two facts about this “junk food” debate is one Beyoncé made a 50 million dollar deal with Pepsi and two that 50 percent of Americans drink sugary drinks every day.
Two opinions about the debate is that Beyoncé made a smart decision because endorsements are for stars to earn money$$. Oh yeah! You might be thinking to yourself. They’re right! But wait! Other people think that Beyoncé’s responsibility is to promote a healthy style of living.
To me I think that celebrities shouldn’t be making deals that include things that are junky. For one fans look up to them and it makes them look like they’re encouraging Americans to eat junk food. Two, its like saying hey guys! Go eat whatever you want! If superstars can do it so can you! Celebrities have such a big influence on people and because of that they should try and influence us to have a healthier and better lifestyle.
One fact about this debate is that it is wrong for celebrities to endorse junk food because since they have an influence over kids, the kids will then follow them and buy and devour the junk food that was promoted by the celebrity. Another fact about this debate is that it’s not wrong for celebrities to endorse junk food because it’s just another way for them to get extra money and it doesn’t matter since “The responsibility ultimately lies with the consumer”. One opinion that it’s wrong for them to promote these kinds of food is that if a celebrity were to promote a sugary product, sugary foods and drinks create health problems while they should be promoting “healthy habits”. Another opinion that it’s okay for celebrities to promote junk food is that endorsement deals are “a standard part of show business” and it’s really not their job to encourage healthy foods, drinks, or habits. In my opinion I don’t think it’s wrong because if they promote a unhealthy product, they might’ve done that since they like that product and if I were in their shoes I would’ve done the same.
1. Beyonce made a $50 million dollar deal with Pepsi.
2. Justin Timberlake endorses McDonalds.
One opinion about this debate is that stars should advertise junk food and unhealthy snacks.
A second opinion is that stars should encourage healthy habits to the kids of America.
My opinion is that stars shouldn’t be encouraging kids like us to eat junk food and not to do any activities that can keep our bodies healthy. The celebrities have been advertising junk food so much in the U.S. That is part of the reason why the kids in America are getting unhealthier by year, we just keep on getting more out of shape because since the celebrities are advertising all these types of junk food, we’re supposed to think it’s cool and eat that type of food that is not even good for our bodies. Also, even though this type advertising is good show business for the celebrities, doesn’t mean it’s right and that they should do it. They are just getting a worser reputation after every singe commercial they do because think about what the parents of these kids would think about a celebrity thats encouraging they’re kids do eat and do the wrong things. But also, they are grown up, so I think they should do what they want to do.
(1)Many people agree that stars shouldnʻt be advertising junk food when it causes health problems, heart disease, obesity, and type 2 diabetes, (2)but companies like pepsi argue that the show business is very important.
(1)Some believe that stars should promote healthy food and encourage kids to exercise, (2) but in another perspective itʻs not the stars fault, itʻs not their responsibility to promote healthiness.
On a personal level, itʻs hard to judge when the fact is I donʻt have the marketing knowledge, but I do know that kids do have to stay healthy to live an active and safe life. Although celebrities are a huge influence on kids, the product can take control. For an example if someone dislikes a product on greater levels than loving the celebrity promoting it, that dosenʻt help the company. Another example would include parents trying to ensure a healthy diet for their kid. In the end I come to the agreement that the celebrity is enabled to create their own decisions, and whatever they promote they are making there selves happy. As the article says the final call is within the consumers, and ultimately this argument should be dissolved because isnʻt the money what drives us along?
-Beyoncé advertises coke
-Justin Timberlake advertises McDonalds
-stars should promote unhealthy food
-stars should not promote unhealthy food because it influences kids
I personally feel that it is a bad idea to advertise junk food because it influences kids. But I understand why they would want to advertise it. Maybe they advertise it because they just want to make money but they don’t realize how it makes an impact on kids. A lot of Americans are obese because of eating at fast food places. I think some people think that it is cool and that’s why they eat junk food. I think because the kids see a celebrity doing it they just want to copy them because they think it is right. Like all of those athletes on TV they advertise Gatorade and a lot of people like it. But it is their choice on what their diet is going to be like and how that is going to effect them in the future. We should encourage more healthy places like Whole Foods and Down To Earth. So that way kids will be influenced the right way to eat healthy.
(1)Pepsi made a 50 million dollar deal with Beyonce. I think that Pepsi made a good decision by endorsing Beyonce for their soda because Beyonce is one of the most famous singers of the 21st century; Pepsi also made a wise decision because Beyonce has so many faithful fans that would do anything to be like her.
(2)50 percent of Americans drink sugary drinks. One sugary drink that most Americans drink is Diet Mountain Dew and one of the main reasons why is because Dale Earnheart Jr. endorses that product.
(1) One opinion that I have about celebrities endorsing junk food and sugary drinks is that if companies want people to buy their product they need famous people to endorse their product; it’s called show buisness for a reason.
(2)One perspective of looking at this hot topic is that if celebrities endorse junk foods and unhealthy drinks more and more people wil buy that product causing heart disease, obesity, and type two diabetes.
My personal opinion about this topic is that unhealthy food and drink companies shouldn’t endorse celebrities for their product because it’s almost as if they’re brain washing people to buy their product but it should be the choice of the people not celebrities brainwashing people to buy the product they are endorsing.
Two facts about celebrities endorsing junk food is;
1. both sides are correct
2. junk food is of course bad for you
Two opinions about celebrities endorsing junk food is;
1. you will be popular
2. you could be strong
What I personally feel is that it’s wrong because all that the stores that are being sponsored just want money. Just take it this way. Maybe you’ll stop eating junk food. THEY ARE TRYING TO KILL YOU!!
That’s what I personally think
One fact from this Star Power article is that drinking high sugary drinks like soda can result in obesity, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. Another fact is that many stars are paid millions of dollars to endorse all different types of things ranging from Nike shoes to Subway sandwiches.
The question is “is it wrong for celebrities to endorse junk food?” One opinion is that yes, it is wrong for celebrities to endorse junk food because it is irresponsible and celebrities have huge influences over kids, they also believe celebrities should be more careful about the ideas they promote. There is also another reaction to this story saying that people should be able to make there own decisions not copy what celebrities are doing. Also they believe that it is not wrong because celebrity endorsements have been a big part of show business for what seems lie forever. Some athletes make more money from endorsements than from playing sports.
I don’t think it is wrong for junk food endorsements because you should rely on famous people or role models to make decisions for you. Almost everyone knows whats wrong and whats right they don’t need to blame there problems on other people, its either they make a good decision or a bad one. Only you have control over yourself so don’t go blaming other people that they’re the reason why your overweight or you have diabetes.
The first fact about celebrities is that famous people like Michael Jordan make big endorsement deals with junk food companies such as Gatorade, McDonalds, and Pepsi. These three are his main junk food endorsement deals. This is not good for people’s health because when a person as famous as Michael Jordan does ads and commercials for these companies it has a huge influence on a lot of people. Another fact about this debate is that when celebrities like Lebron James and Beyonce endorse sodas and other bad drinks this contributes to health problems such as obesity, heart disease, and type two diabetes.
The two sides to this argument are that celebrities should not endorse junk food because they have a large influence on a lot of people, especially kids. People who support this argument also say that when celebrities have that much of an impact on young kids it is wrong of them to promote the wrong thing which is junk food. The other side to this argument is that celebrities should keep on endorsing junk food because in the end it is every individual’s choice on whether on what they eat and drink so it’s not celebrity’s faults. Also, half of all Americans drink soda every day and it is not the stars that chose to encourage these bad habits.
My personal opinion on this is that stars should not promote these bad drinks and food because all of these can contribute to serious health problems and the safety of other people to me is more important than a few more dollars in your wallet at the end of the day. If I had that much of an influence on people and I knew I had that much of an impact on everybody’s life’s I would try and make it so I would promote healthy things that are good for the body and don’t hurt people in the long run.
Here are two facts about celebrities endorsing junk food.
-Beyonce is going through a $50 million endorsement deal with Pepsi right now.
-Soda contributes to obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, and that’s what Beyonce is encouraging.
Here are two opinions on celebrities endorsing junk food.
-Michael Jacobson from the Center for Science thinks that it’s irresponsible for Beyonce to be promoting a product that is sickening Americans.
-It isn’t Beyonce’s responsibility to encourage healthy habits, it’s the consumer’s responsibility.
I honestly think that what these celebrities are doing is wrong. Millions of people adore them and want to be like them, and they’re probably going to eat and drink all these junk foods. Just because they make a lot of money and it’s good for show business it doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. In my opinion, celebrities shouldn’t endorse junk foods.
1) One fact about this debate is that people think that celebrities shouldn’t endorse junk food. Another fact is that some celebraties don’t eat the food they indorse.
2) One opinion is that people think celebraties shouldn’t endorse junk food because its saying ”people in shape eat junk food, so why can’t I?”
A second opinion is that celebrities should be aloud to eat and drink whatever they want.
3) I personally feel that celebrities should be able to eat and drink whatever they want.
1- Beyonce made a $50 million dollar deal with pepsi
2- Lebron James advertises McDonalds.
One opinion on this debate is that famous people should be able to sponsor anyone they want because it is their choice, and it is what they want to do do not us. It can also be to help out with business. Plus, when they are really popular, and they advertise something. It is no doubt that the business that they are advertising will get more business because of them.
Another opinion is that it is not good for famous people to sponsor companies that make bad food because, when they do that it mite make them look bad and they like eating or drinking stuff that can make you fat.
I personally feel that they should be able to make their own choices because, it is their life and they choose what to do, and what not to do. We shouldn’t be the ones who bring them down on what they really want to do.
The two facts about this article is that Larry bird is endorsing McDonald’s. and beyonce is getting a 50 million endorsement for Pepsi. Two opinions is that popular people should not advertise because the economy environment because we have a lot of big people in this world and we don’t wont a lot more. They only advertise to become more popular and know.
My personal feelings is that people should not advertise because not everyone I the world doesn’t have as much money as others and wears not helping out others by trying to give them junk food that they do not need inside there body’s that is my personal felling on this article. And why popular people shouldn’t advertise
Some facts are: Beyonce has a $50million endorsement with pepsi and Eli Manning is with Duncan Donuts. Some opinions to this are that celebrities shouldn’t endorse with unhealthy food companies because they can encourage others into this and that celebrities are bombing endorsements for that money (which is most likely true) and that these companies are just wanting money themselves.
I personally feel celebrities want to get more money even though they already are rich. I think it is just common sense to know that bad food+your belly=BIG NO NO even if celebrities are advertising it.
Two facts are Beyonce is making $50 million dolar deal with Pepsi and Lebron James advertises McDonalds and Gatorade. These people endorce junk food that doesn’t make your health any better but they make you want to eat it just because it taste good.
The two sides of the argument is that celeberties should endorce junk food because at the end of the day, its your decision if you want to go and eat there or not so it is not the celeberties falt that they endorce these junk foods. The other hand is that they shouldn’t endorce junk food because it influences the peoples choice to eat junk food and it could make their health really bad because they start eating all of these things because of the influence from these celeberties so they shouldn’t endorce these things.
I think it is ok that they endorce whatever they want because what it said in the article, it matters at the end of the day if the people watching should go and eat it or not so it isn’t the celeberties falt that they are endorcing these things. Pluss, they get paid a lot of money so it makes the celeberties happy too.
1. some facts are…
- Taylor swift is facing critiscim from promoting Diet Coke
- LeBron James promotes Coca cola and Mcdonalds but earns more endorsements than from playing sports.
2. I would say yes it’s wrong to endorse junk food to people because of various reasons like health reasons for example causing obesity heart disease and others but to think about it it’s not like they are encourging you to drink this product or eat this product everyday.
Also it’s a no it’s not wrong to endorse junk food because these stars are doing this to make them successful and better than others like how LeBron James gets paid more from McDonalds and Coca cola than he does basketball his proffession. I think these stars are doing this not to encourage us to eat bad but to benefit himself.
I personally feel that these choices all are up to these stars because it’s there name on the line and if they know that they are’nt doing this to encourage you to eat horribly and they really just want to benifit themselves than that’s their desicion andI don’t think people should critisize their choices because you may not know the reason why they are doing this answers vary.
Here are 2 facts from Star power.
1-Beyonce is is doing a 50 million dollar endorsement with the Pepsi company.
2- Pepsi causes diabetes, obesity, and heart disease.
Here are 2 opinions form Star power.
1-Michael Jacobson from the Center for science thinks that it’s irresponsible for Beyonce to promote an item that is making people sick.
2-It is the consumers responsibility to encourage healthy habits and not Beyonce’s.
I think that celebrities should not endorse junk foods because with everything that they do for show and for themselves, endorsing the junk foods is not making anything better for them. I also think that it is encouraging people to also endorse junk foods because they want to be like the celebrities. I think that by endorsing the junk foods, it is just destroying celebrities and everybody that follows them.
2 facts are that Beyonce promotes Pepsi and LeBron James promotes McDonalds. 2 opinions for this debate is that celebrities shouldn’t be endorsing junk foods and drinks and that it’s okay for celebrities to endorse junk foods and drinks. In my opinion I think it’s bad for celebrities to promote unhealthy things like soda because soda has a lot of sugar and sugar can lead to obesity, diabetes, and many other health issues. But I also think it’s fine because sometimes celebrities do that to make money and to become more known to people.
– Lebron James advertised McDonald’s
– Michael Jordan advertised Coca-Cola.
– Stars should advertise junk foods and drinks
– Stars shouldn’t advertise junk foods and drinks
I think stars shouldn’t advertise junk foods and drinks because some kids like us look up to them and want to go to McDonald’s and drink Coca-Cola. That is how kids become obese. We think it’s good for us because the stars eat and drink it. They should endorse something healthy like fruit snacks, milk, and water. This is really bad advertisement for the stars’ reputation because kids look up to them as a role model. Their parents know that this is not good for them and they will not grow up to be like them if they eat junk food.
Beyonce advertises coke
Labron James advertises Mc Donald’s
1. Superstars should advertise unhealthy food and drinks.
2. Superstars shouldn’t advertise unhealthy food and drinks.
3. My opinion is that superstar should be able I advertises unhealthy food because it will help the food place. Example Labron James, he advertised McDonald and he is helping McDonald and it also helps Labron James because he can make MONEY by advertising McDonald and other food places or even Gatorade or even clothes and shoe brands and underwear.
1.) LeBron andvertises McDonalds and Gatorade
2.) Michael Jordan advertises Coca Cola
In my opinion, i think that stars should not eat unhealthy food because they could end up having heart diseases and obesity because they aren’t active like us
1. Research shows that if you drink a lot of high calorie sugary drinks like soda contributes a range of health problems.
2. Celebrities have huge influence on younger kids making them drink or eat unhealthy thinks like soda.
3. Celebrities should be more careful about the products they promote
The first opinion in this debate is that celebrities should stop promoting junk food or bad drinks. Kids are being influenced from these celebrities making them drink sodas, which are bad for them. It’s bad for them because they can five them health problems from drinking too much soda like heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Kids can get easily influenced especially if it’s a celebrity that they like.
The second opinion is that it is not wrong for celebrities to endorse food. 50 percent of people already drink soda everyday. Also, endorsements help them earn additional money.
I personally feel that both ways kind of work. I say this because it does make kids drink sodas but it’s their fault because they actually are listening to them and drinking the soda. I wouldn’t drink soda because my favorite celebrity is promoting it. Also, 50 percent of the Americans are already drinking soda everyday. They even get additional money so that’s probably why they promote the products. I know people want to stay healthy and celebrities are promoting unhealthy products but people have to think about it. Don’t just do it because people are telling you to do it. This is why I think that it works both ways.
1.) Another one of my opinions is that most if the kids around the world want to be like all those other stars and it makes them want to be like the other stars and do all the things that they did. Also, I think that most of the stars eat junk food because they want the money. Sometimes I think that stars make themselves look bad by supporting unhealthy foods because others may think that the stars like to eat foods that make you look fat just like how coke is bad and other places like McDonald’s is bad.
2.) I honestly don’t really care if the stars support junk food because really it’s their life and probably they don’t even eat the unhealthy food that they support. But really, I wouldn’t want anyone to tell me what to support, what to eat, or what to do and I think that, that is how they feel.
- Beyonce promotes Pepsi
- LeBron James promotes McDonalds
1.) In my opinion, I think that celebrities should endorse junk food because it’s just like telling a little kid to not eat chocolate. Some kids want to become singers, models, actors ect. Plus, not all celebrities don’t eat junk food…. not all pop stars are skinney, they can eat what they want.
2.)An opinion that I have that is the opposite argurment would be that it is wrong for celebrities to sponsor stores because all that the stores want is money. Its not fair that only certain stores get sponsored like McDonlads and many more get sponsored so more people go there, because people see celebrities their so they go so they think it’s good for them.
1.Beyonce advertised Coke soda.
2.More than one-third of Americans are obese.
1.I think stars shouldn’t advertise unhealthy food or drinks because since the fact that there stars and famous the people will listen to them just because there’re famous.
2. I also think that its not good to convince young kids to eat junk food or drink bad drinks because when they grow up it will effect them some how in many ways.
How I Feel:
1.I feel that the advertisers should think about how the product that they are advertising will affect people in many good and bad ways because if they think about that it would be helping the people around the world stay healthy. Unless they advertise unhealthy products the people will get out of shape and will cause many problems.
Two facts that I read about this debate is that research shows that high-calorie, sugary drinks like soda contributes to a range of health problems, including obesity, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. Another fact that i read was that Beyonce made $50 million for doing a Pepsi endorsement.
Two perspectives that are mentioned in the article are that people say that celebrities should be careful about what they endorse because many of them are role models for young children and they don’t want kids to think it’s all right to do everything their role model does. On the other hand, people say that it is fine for celebrities to endorse whatever they want because it is just a way for them to earn more money and publicity besides from their career.
I personally feel that it is okay for celebrities to endorse products that they want to but it is up to you if you want to be “just like them” or not. The main point of having celebrities do endorsements for companies is to make the consumer want to buy the product because they want you to think it is good just because of who is doing the endorsement. For example, I love LeBron James because he is my favorite basketball player but just because he does endorsements for McDonald’s won’t make me like McDonald’s anymore than I do know. But my main point is that people just have to remember if it is what is best for them and if it is what they really SHOULD eat, drink, or buy.
One fact about this debate is Michel Jordan advertises mcdonalds, and gaderade. Another fact is beyonce made a 50$ millon dollor advertisement deal.
One opinion about this debate is famous people should endores in junk food because its their choice and its advertise more people to buy the product another opinion is famous people should advertise people it gets people want to buy the product
I basicly think its ok that famous advertise products because its their choice and makes people want to buy the product and it makes more money for that componie
1.)I did not read the debate.
2.) one of my opinions is that no it isn’t bad because people will buy when they have their product used by their favorite celebrity and become just like them. Like the ones who whom are obsessed with the celebrity or snack.
Another one of my opinions is yes it is bad because they can be made a fool of what they are doing like how Justin Bieber was on a perfume commercial and I was like “Why”.
3.) I personally feel that they shouldn’t use actors because on some commercials they can be made a fool of because they can look like idiots doing what they’re doing. An example is like when the guy from burger king was telling everyone about the new sandwhich is coming back and the other people who were getting the news were getting hurt from falling or getting hit by a flying object.
