To day we did our test on Nordic and Western Europe. Then we went over an example of an essay on California written by Chandra Battacherya. After the essay, we started writing our first, second and third paragraph for our DBQ. I learned today, that when doing our first paragraph of our DBQ, do not tell a lot of detail on what you are going to say in the body paragraph, just bits and pieces. Also how to write an exceeding paper based on the example. Lastly, I learned how to make all of the supporting details fit into the subject. One question I have is who were King Tutankhamun’s (King Tut’s) parents. Tonight our homework is to study Southern/Central Europe for the quiz. Also you need to complete your first paragraph and your second and third body paragraph for your DBQ.

The first thing we did was for mrs. Kaawaloa to collect our homework than sighn our planners. Then after that, we got out our laptops and do our test on the Nordic and Western countries and when we were done we put away the laptops and cleared our desks to get ready to do our DBQ essay. When everyone put away thier laptops we then looked at an example of a students essay and labled what the certain parts are (ex: Thesis, Topic sentence, ect.). After we got that covered we started the first three paragraphs of our DBQ for the rest of the class period. The three things I learnd was how to make the format of our DBQ, about the Gold rush that California had before and that many people went there and got many gold but, food got expensive because there became less and less food, and also learnd where to put your thesis in an essay. One question I have is how many more mysteries are there about King Tut that people are trying to solve than just how did he die? The homework we have for tonight is to study for a test on Southern and Central Europe and to finish our three paragraphs from our DBQ’s if we didn’t finish it in class
